As an administrator, you can create custom CSV templates for both export and import processes that your users can use seamlessly. These templates let you specify exactly which fields you want included in the CSV files, ensuring the data you share is both relevant and organized. You can locate the CSV templates within the Settings section of the platform.
Export Templates
During the creation process, you will need to map the fields in your CSV file. The mapping interface displays a comprehensive list of default fields and any custom fields you have previously defined, enabling you to manage data flexibly and adapt to different scenarios.

Once your export template is saved, it will be displayed in the list of available templates. If you need to make adjustments, click on the template name to enter edit mode. You can modify the template at any time, and any changes will be updated in real time, giving you confidence that users consistently access the most current version.
Feel free to create as many export templates as necessary to accommodate different data export scenarios, thereby enhancing your users' experience.
Import Templates
As with export templates, import templates should include a clearly defined, unique identifier field in your CSV file. This helps prevent data conflicts and ensures accurate record matching during import. You can set this ID to be generated from the file ID, file name, or a URL pointing to the record, streamlining the process.
Necessary: If you opt to provide a remote URL during the import process, Razuna will automatically create a record for the file, download the corresponding content, and populate the remaining metadata fields. For this feature to function correctly, the remote file must be publicly accessible to ensure a smooth import without access issues

By effectively using both export and import templates, you can streamline data management tasks for your users, fostering a more efficient, user-friendly environment.
