.mov files refusing to upload if they are larger than 250MB

#1

We are running a self hosted Razuna installation with video files hosted on s3. We have a challenge where MOV large MOV files are refusing to upload. The tumbnail is created but the videos are not uploading.

#2

Could be a memory issue, could be a network issue, could be …

Also, you are on 1.7, please upgrade

#3

I have been trying to upgrade but it fails. Its running on CentOS with a MySQL database, i got the notice that its updating the database but after hours of waiting it doesn’t work.

#4

I would like to update the database but we are uisng MySQL and the queries on 1.9.5 seem to not to complete, I have seen this thread: Razuna 1.9.5 with MySQL 8.0? were those issues resolved?

Thank you @Nitai

#5

There are “no issues” that need to be resolved with the MySQL setup. Please check the error files for any issues.

Read the error message. It says “Out of memory”. Hence as stated in my first reply, “it can be a memory issue”. This is 99% of the time, the issue.

Solution: Increase the memory in Tomcat and, if needed, of the host.

#8

How do I do that?

#9

Please use the search of this forum and/or your favorite search engine

Thank you for the support i editted this line:

CATALINA_OPTS="$CATALINA_OPTS -server -Xms7G -Xmx7G -Djava.awt.headless=true -Dorg.apache.j$

in the setenv.sh file found in the bin folder. The issue has been resolved now.
